The Department of General Dentistry and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is here to meet the community’s needs for high-quality general dentistry, oral medicine, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and basic and advanced oral and maxillofacial surgery, including implant surgery and prosthetic reconstruction and implant care. Our department is staffed by a highly qualified team of dedicated dentists, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, and oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Our staff is made up of friendly and capable dental assistants and administrators who are committed to providing our patients with excellent patient care.

• Our General Dentistry division offers primary dental care for children and adults and specializes in the dental management of patients with complex medical histories, as well as providing comprehensive dental care to mentally and physically challenged patients in the operating room under general anesthesia.
• Our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery division offers dental implants, surgical extractions, removal of wisdom teeth, and many other complex oral surgery procedures

The department also is home to a fully accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Residency Program, as well as a one- and two-year General Practice Residency Program.
